People who are interested in this holiday always ask us the same questions, so we thought that we should list the questions showing our answers. Hopefully this should cover most of your questions, if not feel free to e-mail or call one of our customer service people. Q: What are the bike trails like and how far away are they from the Chalet?

A: The Chalet is situated 5 min drive from Bourg St Maurice where there is the funicular train that takes you straight into Les Arcs resort. From here you have access to ski lifts where you can take you bike on for as much downhill fun as you like! For those of you who get you thrills from road biking the French Alps has everything you can want, but be prepared for some up hill climbs!

Q: If I do not know the area how can I make the most of my time with out wasting it searching for good spots?

A: There are guides available in the local village SEEZ and also in Bourg St Maurice. They will show you the best areas to suit your ability. There are also maps available.

Q: What is there to do for someone who is not into Mountain Biking?

A: There is such a variety of activities you can do from Swimming and Tennis to more relaxing activities like golf and horse riding. There are some beautiful walk in the French Mountains where you can appreciate the scenery and the fantastic weather. There really is something to suit everyone, even if it is sailing on a lake or throwing your self down rapids!

Q: What is there for children?

A: There is a Kids activity group where you can leave you children where they are looked after by trained staff. This is for the ages of 6-17. They will get the opportunity to do a vast range of activities such as archery, pony-riding, climbing, orienteering, camping and much much more! For the younger children there is the P'tits Montagnards who have excellent child care and great facilities.

Q: What is there to do in the evening?

A: In the Chalet there is a TV and DVD and various board games to keep you entertained. If you wish to go out there are cinemas, concerts, street entertainments and more.

Q: Is the Chalet easy to get to?

A: The Chalet is perfectly situated. It is just outside Bourg St Maurice on the road that lakes you to Tignes & Val D'Isere so it is easy to find and it is easy to get to any of the activities you want to, however a car is advisable if you do not have a bike. Q: Where are the nearest shops?

A: In Seez which is 1.5km away there is a small super market, a bakery and pharmacy.

Q: Where are the nearest hospital and doctors and pharmacy?

A: The nearest hospital is in Moutier which is 35km away. There is a doctors in Bourg St Maurice which is 4km away.

Q: How far away is the swimming pool and tennis courts?

A: The swimming pool and tennis courts are in Bourg St Maurice so they are only 5 min drive away. Mosty of the activities are based in BSM and there is also a lot in Les Arcs which is 20 min drive or 7 min in the funicular train.
