Useful Everyday Info for the Freshbreakz Chalet

Morning:

It is a very easy 5 min drive to the funicular which takes you into Les Arcs 1600 in 8 minutes and leaves every 20 min on the hour. Therefore you can time your drive so that you do not have to wait for the funicular.

In Les Arcs 1600, you will find all the main ski schools.

You are able to leave your ski equipment at the POLAR STAR shop next to the funicular o avoid taking it in the car.

The road is always cleared of snow and it is relatively flat, so very rarely you will need to put on chains!

 

For lunch, we can offer all Freshbreakz customers 10% discount at the BAR KING MAD in les Arcs 1800, a new bar/ pizzera which has great homemade food, sky sports and English speaking staff.

Evening:

The funicular stops running at 9.00pm, and once back at the chalet, you can help yourselves to lots of board games, books, watch TV or DVD's, plug in your camera or hardrive into the DVD player via the USB port and check out the days photos, or put on a film.

Food

The supermarkets in Bourg St Maurice open at 7am, and shut at 7.15pm.

In Seez, (1.5km away, the nearest shops to the chalet), you will find 3 bakers, a little supermarket, restaurants and bars.

 

The chalet is non smoking but you can step through the French windows on to the balcony and admire the mountains while you have a smoke.
